The International Symposium of Space Optical Instrument and Application has been held annually in the Netherlands and China since 2014, and has gradually become an influential academic seminar in the field of space optical instruments between China and Europe. In 2022 and 2023, it has been selected into the Guide of important academic conferences of China Association for Science and Technology. The 8th International Symposium on Space Optical Instruments and Applications (ISSOIA2023) was hosted by the Chinese Society of Astronautics and the National Center for International Research on Space Instrument, and hosted by the Beijing Institute of Space Mechanics and Electronics. The theme of this conference is "Space perception, innovative services". The symposium will focus on the hot spots of optical remote sensing technology, discuss advanced optical remote sensing technology and its application, promote the international exchange of space optical technology, enhance the international influence of China's space optical technology, and further enhance the international cooperation and exchange in the field of space optical remote sensing, and seek partners and cooperation opportunities.

The full text of the papers accepted by the conference will be selected to be included in the conference proceedings (EI Search) after the conference.
